JRC student portal launches next week
The number of students joining JRC courses is growing all the time, which is fantastic.
To ensure everyone gets the best and most efficient service possible we are implementing a student portal to help you register for our courses and manage your personal details yourself.
The new portal brings you lots of benefits (see below) and will be how you sign-up for our future courses.
IMPORTANT: You will receive an email next week to activate your student portal account. You will need to activate your account to sign-up for JRC courses from now on.
We have already set-up an account for you and you will be sent an email next week with your log-in details. Our next semester (February - April 2019) will launch for registrations in two weeks (17th December). In order to register for these courses, and others in the future, you will need to sign-in to your student portal account.

We tested lots of student portals and we feel this is the best one for our students. The benefits for you are:
- You can create a student profile that you can update anytime making sure the personal details we have for you are always up-to-date.
- You won't need to input your personal details every semester as you have in the past. They will be stored on the portal meaning you only need sign-in and select the courses you'd like to attend every semester.
- You can cancel any courses you're enrolled onto or sessions you can't attend yourself via the portal.
- You can see your own learning history - which courses you have attended and when (this will be complete by Spring 2019).
- The portal is completely GDPR compliant so you can be sure your data is secure.
- You can access the portal anywhere you have an internet connection.
- Course materials will be available via the portal where relevant.

We know that getting used to a new process and system is disruptive and sometimes frustrating. We have had a few teething problems as we have tested the new system over the past few months. We apologise for any issues this has caused.
The JRC team thank you in advance for your patience with getting used to a new way of registering for our courses and managing your personal details. We have tried to make it as easy as possible for you but understand there will inevitably be a few hiccups when we all begin using it. Please don't hesitate to ask our team for help if you are having any issues.
Thank you.
